Jeff Colver

Jeff commenced duties in this (his seventh Council) on 19 July 2004 after having served as CEO at Mataranka since April 2003.
Prior to that he was CEO at Coomalie Council for seven years and Revenue Supervisor at Darwin City Council for five years.
Prior to coming to the Territory in 1989, Jeff served as Plans Custodian of the Gold Coast City Council (Qld) for five years, City Development Manager of Goulburn City Council (NSW) and held various Administrative positions at Campbelltown City Council (NSW) for ten years.
Jeff specialises in Local Government Law, ConstitutionalLaw and Corporations Law matters as well as Human Redsource Management and Regional and Community Development with a strong leaning towards the entrepreneurial business side of Local Government.
He is in his 36th year in the Industry and in terms of experience is the second ranked Practitioner in Local Government in the Territory.
Jeff is divorced with a grown-up family of three children.
